How It Works?

Before You Book
You will need
- A valid Learners Permit or Licence
- The Driving Companion (for logbook)
- Enclosed, comfortable footwear suitable for driving (no thongs or high heels).
- Consent for use of in-vehicle dashcam and GPS tracking for safety and training purposes
All lessons start from West Terrace, Murray Bridge – unless otherwise arranged at booking.
Savings apply to block bookings. Lessons should be scheduled weekly for best learning outcomes. If you need a tighter schedule, contact us directly to discuss options.
Ready For Your Driving Test?
We can help organise your test (for existing MDT students only) with an independent, authorised examiner.
You are welcome to use your own car for the test, although most students choose to use the MDT vehicle for convenience and confidence on the day.
Please note: All payments are non-refundable if the student does not attend.
Driving Test Fee: $200 total
$50 deposit paid to MDT when booking (non-refundable)
$150 paid in cash directly to the examiner on the day of the test
Use of MDT Vehicle for Your Test:
Option 1 – $150
Includes 1-hour lesson before test + use of MDT vehicle
Total to MDT: $200 ($150 + $50 test deposit)
And remember: $150 cash must be paid to the examiner on the day
Option 2 – $90
Use of MDT vehicle only (no pre-test lesson)
Total to MDT: $140 ($90 + $50 test deposit)
And remember: $150 cash must be paid to the examiner on the day

Post-Test and Refresher Driving Sessions
Passed your test but still want to build confidence or expand your driving experience?
Murraylands Driver Training offers tailored sessions for fully licensed drivers who want to sharpen their skills, adapt to new driving conditions, or simply feel more prepared on the road.
Available Session Options:
2-hour Advanced Driving Session
Focus on hazard perception, defensive driving strategies and safe decision-making in varied traffic conditions. We recommend booking more than one session to get the most benefit from this training.
2-hour Country Roads Session
Learn how to manage longer distances, safe overtaking, navigating gravel roads and identifying wildlife hazards.
3-hour City Driving Session
Designed for those needing experience in city environments. Covers heavy traffic, complex intersections, multi-lane roundabouts, merging and route planning in unfamiliar areas.
These sessions are ideal for drivers returning to the road, adjusting to new locations, or looking to increase their independence and safety.
